NEXUS: Sensitivity, Fluidity and Integration Process in Aquatic Bodywork
NEXUS is a training that, alongside the technical learning of aquatic bodywork, offers an immersion into embodiment. It explores how the body responds to its environment and to sensory stimuli such as touch and hydrostatic pressure, and how these travel through neural and bodily networks, shaping emotions and the body’s movements.
As a facilitator, how do we respond to what the body reveals or conceals? How do we validate the perception of one’s inner state, psycho-emotional adaptation and somatic expression, on land as in water? Welcoming what emerges with respect and resources requires developing one’s sensitivity and acquiring communication tools that anchor the receiver’s experience in a meaningful way.
NEXUS offers a methodology of self-observation through a variety of somatic explorations, refining the ability to accompany from an empirical approach. Building on the solid structure of Waterness Journeyâ„¢, at the surface as well as underwater, NEXUS invites students to develop a deeper awareness of movement in water. Its aim is to foster a relationship in therapeutic accompaniment that is both methodical and intuitive, combining technique, presence and perception.
In essence, NEXUS is a process of integration and connection: with the environment, with the other, with technique and with one’s own presence. It means inhabiting transition, seeing constant change as an opportunity to support and facilitate transformation in a safe context, building the bridges that connect us all:

REGISTRATION & LODGING
Registrations and lodging are accepted on a first come, first served basis. A registration is valid only once the registration form is completed and the deposit is paid.
Limited space: 10 people.
GUEST HOUSE
Lunch can be added to each option.
Ground floor: spacious Japanese-style dormitory, 4 people (+1 extra bed possible), 40 CHF / night
First floor: double room, king size bed (180 x 200) with en-suite bathroom, 130 CHF / night
Second floor: 2 people + futon, up to 3 to 4 people, 120 CHF / night
Lunch (half-board): 12 CHF per meal, added to the room rate.
A large indoor kitchen with table, oven, fridge, coffee and tea is available. There is also a spacious outdoor kitchen next to the pool, where we can share meals and cook together in the evening 💙
The village of Grimisuat is 5 minutes away, with grocery shops and a few restaurants.
Catering and lodging are paid directly to TINIKA. Travel is your own responsibility.
